ManagersWhen an employee resigns from your team, you should enter the resignation details into People and Money, once approved you will be assigned the ‘Leaving the University’ Journey and provides a series of tasks for you, the employee, and school/department administrators to complete.If an employee is not leaving the University but is transferring to another School/Department you should not process this as a resignation or leaver. The school or department in which the employee is transferring should request the transfer with HR Operations. Once this has been actioned you will receive the ‘Moving Roles – Tasks to complete in your current role’ Journey and provides a series of tasks for you, the employee, and school/department administrators to complete.Further guidance on Journeys and how to complete tasks is available within the Line Manager Guide to Journeys, available from the People and Money user guide webpage. You can request this by raising a Service Request via People and Money ‘Service Request>Forms>Reference Request’.
