Facility Time Reporting

The Trade Union Regulations 2017 require public sector employers, including universities, to publish information on trade union facility time each year. 

Facility time is the provision of paid or unpaid time off from an employee’s normal role to undertake trade union duties and activities as a trade union representative.  The data for 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 is published below.
