Relocation Services Provider The University of Edinburgh has engaged the services of HCR Ltd as its relocation partner to help make your move to Edinburgh as smooth as possible. HCR have been contracted to provide support and guidance to understand the UK housing market, provide expense management and reimbursement of eligible expenses, and to explain and apply the University of Edinburgh’s Relocation Policy. HCR’s Services offered include:Expense reimbursementArrangement of Household Goods Removal and StorageTemporary, Short Term and Long Term AccommodationSchool/Education SearchArea OrientationSettling in ProgrammeBanking SupportAs part of your relocation package, you will be provided with a Relocation Allowance. Relocation allowances must be used within one year of your start date. HCR will manage your entire relocation budget. All claims that you wish to make against your budget will be made through HCR, who will authorise them in accordance with the University’s Relocation Policy, and repay you as swiftly as possible.Once your local school/department team has sent HCR the purchase order and instructions for your relocation support, you will be contacted by a dedicated HCR Relocation Consultant to carry out a Start Conversation, a detailed fact-finding assessment and policy briefing which will take place with you as a relocating appointee. The purpose of the Start Conversation is to establish your personal circumstances, to discuss the services HCR can offer that may be relevant for you, to explain the level of support which is available to you, how this will all be delivered, and to answer any initial questions you may have.HCR Feedback formHCR is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our relocating staff. This service will benefit those unfamiliar with the UK job market.Partner Career Transition Support is provided by INTOO at the University. INTOO, understand that periods of transition can be challenging, and their mission is to guide you through this journey with a tailored outplacement program and dedicated career coaching services. If you are interested in this support, approval must be sought from your School/Department within one year of your start date.For SDAs: if a request for PCTS is approved, you will need to complete the referral form found at the link below. You need to complete all requested information, including a PO number for the purposes of invoicing. The cost will be covered by the School/Department and the cost of PCTS is, £775 + VAT.Note: when raising the PO for invoicing purposes, it is important that the individuals name who will receive the outplacement support is clear in the PO description line.All submitted information in the form will be sent to the HR Business Support team, which is part of the University’s Human Resources (HR) Team.
